Shipping

 

New Zealand Shipping rates – We ship nationwide with NZ Post & Aramex Couriers. 

Please use a physical address, we can not deliver to a PO Box:

Free shipping throughout New Zealand on orders valued at $149NZD and above. Other rates are: 

  • Nationwide URBAN addresses North and South Island: $8
  • Nationwide RURAL addresses North and South Island: $12.50
  • Chatham Islands: $27.50

International Shipping rates – We ship worldwide with NZ Post or DHL:

  • Free shipping to Australia on orders valued $299NZD & above
  • Australia nationwide: $30NZD for sunglasses
  • Australia nationwide: $40NZD for hats (Please select this option if you are purchasing hats including hats & sunglasses, as hats are a bulky item extra shipping is charged)

Rest of the World – We ship worldwide with NZ Post or DHL:

  • Rest of the world: $46NZD for sunglasses
  • Rest of the world: $66NZD + an extra $1 per item for hats (Please select this option if you are purchasing hats including hats & sunglasses, as hats are a bulky item extra shipping is charged)
  • Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive the item.

 

Customs & Import duties: Customs or import duties may be charged when the order reaches its destination country. These are to be paid by the customer. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Charges will vary from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for further details if you require.

Tracking your parcel: Please allow a business day for your parcel to update once you receive the tracking number.  If it is an NZ Post number please copy and paste the tracking number into the search bar.

Wholesale Customers: These shipping rates do not apply to wholesale customers. Please head over to the Wholesale Info page or get in touch if you have any questions about wholesale shipping.

Returns

If you find the fit of your hat or sunglass is not quite right or if you are not completely satisfied with your Electric Pukeko purchase, we will accept returns if you make contact within 7 days of receiving your purchase and have the item returned to us within 14 days. The returned product must be in a brand-new condition with all original packaging and hang tags. Any modified product will not be accepted under the returns policy. Items that have been damaged or misused in anyway will not be accepted for a return. Once we receive your return, we will issue an online store credit to use via the website to the value of your order (minus shipping costs) so you can order the correct size or an alternative product/style.  Please consider this when ordering from our website. 

In the case of a return, shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

Sale items are final and are not to be returned or exchanged.

We only issue refunds on faulty items, not change of mind or wrong size, but happy to exchange via the process outlined above.  If your item is faulty, please email an image to sales@electricpukeko.co.nz with your order details.

Please note only products purchased directly from www.electricpukeko.co.nz are accepted through our returns policy. If you have purchased your product from a New Zealand approved Electric Pukeko retailer, please return your item to the place of purchase.

Airpoints Store – If you have bought an item off the Air NZ Airpoints store using your Airpoints dollars and you wish to exchange the item. We can offer a store credit to the value of the item on our website to redeem via our website. We require the customer to cover the freight to get the item back to us.

    Once your return has been authorised and you have posted your item, please email sales@electricpukeko.co.nz with your name, order number & tracking number. Once we receive your item you will receive a store credit coupon code to use via the website.

     

      We will require you to send the parcel back to us from your local post office at your cost – we recommend using a tracked service, we will not take responsibility for any lost items in transit. Please DO NOT send any product back to Electric Pukeko until a return has been authorised.

      Shipping throughout NZ is expensive, so please select carefully and be sure to MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE before purchasing. Order our hat filler if you think you may be in between sizes or have a small head circumference. Please be sure to refer to the size description under each product.

        Warranty

        We are happy to warrant our products against manufacturing defects in the materials used, or in the workmanship, for a period of 6 months (180 days) from the purchase date. If EP deem the product defective we will repair the item with no charge to you. In the case that the item cannot be repaired to normal conditions of use we will replace the item at no cost to you. If your EP product is no longer available we will replace it with an EP product of the same or similar style and or colour. Our warranty is applicable to items that have not been discounted or sold at reduced sale prices.

        EP does not warrant against accidents or lack of care. Normal wear and tear (including fading of materials and untying ribbons, bows), loss, theft, scratches, or any damage due to misuse are also not covered. (Scratched sunglass lens and broken wooden arms are not covered under warranty, so please use the sunglass case & bag provided) Alteration, misuse or abuse of any EP products will void its warranty.

        Assessment of any products under warranty remain at the discretion of Electric Pukeko.

        Electric Pukeko requires proof of purchase from www.electricpukeko.co.nz or a New Zealand approved retailer to complete the warranty claim. A screen shot of the bank transaction from a store or website is acceptable if you have lost or simply don’t have the receipt.
